Call for Submissions: EU-India FTA and Innovation-Access Nexus
The Innovation Brief, a student-led research initiative at National Law University, Delhi, has announced a call for blog posts on the theme ‘Impact of the Intersection of Innovation and Access by the EU-India FTA’. The submission deadline is 20 October 2026.
The blog seeks concise, analytical contributions exploring how the proposed EU-India Free Trade Agreement may affect access to medicines, data exclusivity, patent term extensions, and technology transfer. Topics may include potential conflicts between IP enforcement and public health safeguards under the TRIPS Agreement.
This opportunity is open to students, researchers, and practitioners. Selected submissions will be published on the Innovation Brief platform, offering visibility and engagement with ongoing IP policy debates. Given the high stakes of the FTA negotiations, such analyses will contribute meaningfully to informed policymaking.
