DGFT extended the Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products (RoDTEP) scheme until December 31, 2026, with existing rates and value caps unchanged.
RoDTEP Scheme Extended Till December 31, 2026
The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has extended the Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products (RoDTEP) scheme until December 31, 2026, maintaining current rebate rates and value caps without modification.
The continuation ensures uninterrupted export incentives for Indian exporters, addressing global competitiveness concerns. RoDTEP provides refund of embedded central, state, and local duties not credited under GST, supporting compliance with World Trade Organization norms.
The move offers stability to export sectors relying on timely reimbursements. Exporters are advised to file claims under the existing framework, as no procedural or rate changes have been introduced during the extension period.
