NLU Delhi’s Innovation Brief Seeks Submissions on EU-India FTA

The Innovation Brief, a student-led research platform at National Law University, Delhi, has issued a call for blog submissions on the 'Impact of the Intersection of Innovation and Access by the EU-India Free Trade Agreement'. The deadline for submissions is October 20, 2026.

The initiative invites critical analysis on how IP provisions in the proposed FTA may affect access to medicines, data exclusivity, geographical indications, and digital trade. Submissions are encouraged from law students, researchers, and practitioners focusing on comparative IP frameworks and policy implications.

Interested authors may submit 800–1200 word posts addressing regulatory coherence, TRIPS-plus standards, or flexibilities available under international law. The platform has previously published commentary on compulsory licensing, patent evergreening, and AI-generated works.

This call offers a valuable opportunity for emerging voices in IP policy to contribute to a national discourse on one of India’s most significant ongoing trade negotiations. Selected entries will be featured on The Innovation Brief’s website and social media channels.
