QNu Labs Raises ₹200 Crore in Quantum Tech Fundraise

QNu Labs Private Limited, a Bengaluru-based quantum technology startup, has secured ₹200 crore in a Series A1 funding round led by the National Quantum Mission and Speciale Invest, with participation from Sony Innovation Fund, Gaja Capital, and Artha Ventures. DSK Legal advised QNu Labs and its founder on the transaction.

GameChanger Law Advisors represented Speciale Invest, providing legal support in structuring, drafting, and negotiating transaction documents. The deal was led by Samira Shah, Partner at the firm. TT&A also provided legal assistance, marking a multi-firm collaboration typical in complex venture capital deals involving government and institutional investors.

This fundraise underscores the growing investment in India’s deep-tech and quantum computing sector. For legal practitioners, the deal illustrates the increasing complexity of VC transactions involving public-sector missions and foreign investors, requiring careful navigation of FDI policy, securities law, and IP assignment structures.
