A cross-institutional team of law students from Jindal Global Law School (JGLS), National Law School of India University (NLSIU), and Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU) has won the South Asia rounds of the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) International Arbitration Moot, 2026.

The competition, held at Lloyd Law College, Greater Noida from July 30 to August 2, 2026, featured 38 teams from India, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. The top 10 teams have qualified for the international rounds.

The victory underscores the growing emphasis on arbitration training in Indian law schools. For practitioners, such moots serve as talent pipelines and reflect evolving pedagogical focus on international dispute resolution mechanisms, particularly in investment law.
