Call for Submissions: Journal of Intellectual Property Laws
The Centre for Intellectual Property Rights (CIPR) at the Institute of Law, Nirma University, has announced a call for papers for Volume X of the Journal of Intellectual Property Laws (JIPL). The last date for submission is November 30, 2026. The journal, established in 2007, continues to serve as a peer-reviewed platform for academic and policy research in IP law.
Papers on contemporary issues in copyright, patents, trademarks, geographical indications, and related domains are welcome. Submissions should be original, between 5,000 and 10,000 words, and conform to the journal’s citation standards. Interdisciplinary perspectives, especially those linking IP with public health, climate change, or digital governance, are encouraged.
For practitioners and scholars, this represents an opportunity to contribute to India’s evolving IP jurisprudence. Given the ongoing legislative and judicial shifts—including discussions on AI-generated works and traditional knowledge protection—timely contributions can influence both academic discourse and regulatory thinking.
