NLU Delhi’s The Innovation Brief invites submissions on how the EU-India FTA impacts innovation and access. Deadline: 20 October 2026.
Call for Submissions: Impact of EU-India FTA on Innovation and Access
The Innovation Brief, a student-led research platform at National Law University, Delhi, has issued a call for blog post submissions examining the intersection of innovation and access under the proposed EU-India Free Trade Agreement. The deadline for contributions is 20 October 2026.
Submissions should critically analyse how IP provisions in the FTA negotiations may affect access to medicines, technology transfer, and domestic innovation capacity in India. Topics may include data exclusivity, patent term extensions, and enforcement mechanisms.
This initiative offers a platform for emerging voices in IP policy. Practitioners and academics are encouraged to mentor students in preparing submissions that bridge legal analysis with policy impact. The resulting publications may inform ongoing negotiations and public discourse on India’s international IP commitments.
