BSE rolls out a uniform SOP for further issue approvals effective 1 November 2026, applicable to companies listed on multiple stock exchanges.
BSE Implements Common SOP for Further Issue Approvals
From 1 November 2026, the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) will adopt a common standard operating procedure (SOP) for processing applications related to further public offers, rights issues, and private placements by companies listed on multiple exchanges. The move aims to harmonize approval timelines and reduce discrepancies in processing.
Under the new SOP, companies filing with BSE as the designated stock exchange will benefit from streamlined documentation requirements, uniform disclosure standards, and faster processing cycles. The framework has been coordinated with other recognized stock exchanges to ensure consistency in regulatory compliance.
Legal and capital markets advisors should update their issuance checklists to reflect the revised procedures. The SOP is expected to improve market efficiency, particularly for multi-exchange listed entities seeking prompt access to capital markets.
